Encoding for my ipod

My gear:

 

Nu Force NE-7m

Ipod Nano 5th Gen

 

I listen to music by The Flash Bulb and Ulrich Schnauss

I have them in FLAC on my computer and have been encoding them to 320 CBR.

 

Is there certain ways to encode it that would produce the best playback on my gear?

Use foobar2000 with nero AAC plugin (free) or dBpoweramp ($).
