My MAD EAR+ is fitted with two tubes, a JJ Tesla ECC99 and a 5751 Sovtek. It was working perfectly until some time ago the right channel output signal suddenly became weaker relative to the left. I've rolled the Sovtek with no remedy to this problem. To those knowledgeable, is replacing the ECC99 the most likely cure or could there just as easily be something else faulty with the amp?
Replacing the tube won't be too expensive just to try but it will take some time until it arrives if I buy one.
