X-Can v3 Noise/Microphonics Free Tubes?

I have tinnitus and am VERY sensitive to any form of microphonics or noise.

I have the X-CAN V3 stock, and have noticed irritation after use (though no audible noise).  I suspect a very high pitched microphonics issue, as this would explain the tinnitus irritation outside of my hearing spectrum (yes, there could be other causes, but at least this way I can upgrade the sound quality!).  So I am looking for some good tubes that are known to be silent.  Since I've never rolled before, I need real specifics.

For example, I noticed the 7308 series is known to be microphonic free.  However, there are tons of different flavors, and I don't know what to get without killing my wallet.  And I don't know if all 7308s are noise free, or just the high end NOS brands.

TIA.

I would suggest trying the Rock Grotto forum.

You could also try emailing the guy who runs that site who used to post here as Pink Floyd. He has loads of experience with this amp. Few here seem to have it these days. You can find his email here.

Thanks.

I've been over there.  The emphasis is more on the Capacitor Mod than tubes it looks like.  I e-mailed him a few days ago about my X-Cans V2.

I actually bought some 7308s after more than 1 million tons of reading about tubes.  Got my fingers crossed there, and I can follow up afterward on other possible issues if they don't help.
