Hey all I wasn't really sure where to put this one
and i know this is a question about headphones directly, but i like the views and suggestions that this community gives.
this is a set up I was thinking about, and I would like some input or suggestions. I’m trying to keep it smallish and all in one line as I may be moving to Melbourne to study (currently in Sydney).
One of the questions I have is the idecco vs decco2 + waldia ipod transport? Which one would you choose and why? (The reason is I my computer is a Lenovo t410 and will be moved constantly, so I like the idea of my music on my ipod)
Also is the Nova vs Decco2 scene are there any other major difrence apart form number of inputs and watts per channel?
Also I enjoy listening to radio stations to widen my music interest and was wondering if there are any DAB/internet radio devices (without speakers) out there, the only ones I have found are things like sonos, squeeze box etc.
Here is my proposed setup
Sources: computer, sonos, ipod
Into either a dacmagic -> aktimate minis or Audioengine A5
-> Headphone amp -> HE5LE
Or
Decco -> audio engine P4 or other recommend speakers
Via line out -> headphone amp -> HE5LE
Or something else that suits my needs and doesn’t cost a liver and Kidney.
The use for the speakers would be general listening and when I need to move around a lot and also for normal computer use
I am also a student so nothing to $$$$ please
