Superbowl XLV - Who's getting ready?

As a Wisconsinite I'm pulling for the Packers, but I don't think they'll beat the Steelers.  They just barely beat the bears...

This Packers team doesn't have the "killer instinct" that's needed to win the Super Bowl.  That was VERY evident watching the championship game.

The grocery store where I work part time is going to be absolutely insane in a week and a half.  I can't even imagine.  I'm certainly going to be busy!

Good man, GO PACK. The Packers have had pretty tepid second half performances against the Bears in all the games we've played. When we come out to play, the offense is really dynamic and the defense stays tight, but when we relax and drop into coverage we pay for it. I guess that I'll have to wait until game time to see what's up. 

I'm extremely pumped.  Both teams will be well rested on a good field where weather won't play a factor.  Both teams had similar games yesterday where they almost gave up big leads late.  I think it will come done to Defense and how well both qbs manage the constant blitzes.  I think Pitt will probably be favored to win, but both teams are extremely similar, it could come down to a last second field goal.

Man, you're a tough crowd. What about the game before, where the Pack dismantled a very good Falcons team? 

Obviously, the GB O vs. the Pitt D is a great matchup. Further, how about the Packers' receiving corp against the Steeler secondary. Tell ya, early I think of the fast track in Big D. Conditions will be perfect for AR and the mentioned corp to find some success. 

Another interesting little tidbit. Both teams run 3-4 D, so that scheme shouldn't be the advantage it usually is.

Isn't the same defensive co-ordinator responsible for the ground work for both teams 3-4 D? I could have sworn that was the case. I'm really thinking their Defensive lines will match up similarly and it will come down to whether Rodgers or Rothleisberger can out play the other's D.

i'm thinking the same, almost.  great defense, great qb so that comes down to running game.  i'm not so sure this part on the packers

I think Aaron Rodgers will outshine 'berger if he's not overwhelmed by the stage.  But that Mendenhall is in beastmode.

I can still spin this game either way. Currently, my head says Pack. A nagging feeling in my gut says Steel. Maybe it's because I listened to an Ochocinco interview today, where he said the Steeler D was harder to read. Chad would't lie? Would he? 

Gotta go with the AFC....Palamalu has been pretty quiet through the playoffs but I think he will be unleashed Sunday. If the Steelers can keep Rogers between the tackles like the Bears did in the second half, he will be in for a long night. I am looking forward to a great game!
