Dac with remote control?

Hi!

I've been searching for a cheap dac/preamp with toslink input, rca output, remote control for volume and input selection.

Cheapest i have found is this but the reviews says the dac in it isn't so good on this model.

I've also been thinking to do a diy preamp dac with these parts: DAC PREAMP

The seller of that preamp also sells case, frontplate and transformer and that would cost $160 including shipping.

There is not much soldering to do on that diy project so it should be easy to do for a first timer and it would cost $225.

My budjet is $150-350, are there any better options than these i have found?

HLLY have a DAC/headamp combo w/ a remote, but it's got flaws apparently...they said they'd release an updated version soon.

DMK-IV? Thats cool, but too pricey and i have the PPAv2 amp.

Seems like best-for-buck is that diy from ebay now, is that remote controller kit any good? Good enough to spend $160 with the case, front plate and transformer inc. shipping?

I think there should be cheaper preamp controllers out there, but i can't find any on ebay..

The preamp should be analog only, as im going to use external dac in this price range. I can't find any dacs with remote control so i'm going to buy that museaudio dac and cheapy preamp/processor with remote.

Hmm that MASS looks nice, Pro-Ject PreBox looks nice too, but are they as good as the pga2311 one from ebay? MASS uses pga2310, but i don't know what PreBox uses, some users has reported about poor audio quality.
