Best universal IEM under ~$500

What would be the best universal IEM under ~$500.00.

I listen to Pop, Dance, Hip-Hop, Rap, Techno, Club, Dance and a bit of other genres.

I'm looking at the SM3's, GR10's, SE535's, DBA-02's + possibly another IEM for that price..?

What do you guys think?

Just changed my music genres (more specific).

You can buy two IEMs under this budget for two different genres music like for bass heavy JVC FX700, IE8, SM3, Westone 3, Radius DDM, MTP Gold and for reference GR10, RE0, DBA-02, CK10, SA6, SE535, UM3x, CK100, PFE 112.

Genres don't mean much in my mind.  You're really looking for a product that presents sound the specific way you want.  This has to do with frequency response, level of detail, dynamic range, impact, texture, and so on.  All of this is completely independent of the actual music you listen to.  If the earphone is largely uncolored it will sound good over a wide range of music.  If an earphone is very colored, it may sound good with only certain songs and quite off with other songs.  Some people prefer some level of coloration, example a little bit of bass boost to pronounce the beat a little more or maybe midbass and lower midrange to really pull out the bass guitar and drum hits.  Some of this stuff may not be true to the original recording but desirable for the individual listener.  It's why there are 500 different sounding earphones out there for us, because everyone wants something different.  Your individual preference defines which product(s) best suit you.  This isn't preference in song.  This is preference in sound.

So...

What kind of sound do you like?

@MVW2. You're the man!

@BNHabs I suggest much better to audition for those IEMs first and choose the best IEM fit for you...just remember the reason why you bought them on the first place (maybe your preferred SQ or something else, heck even the saleslady selling these phones is so hot!!!) and do alot of research may help also. There is nothing wrong if the idea of your best IEM(s) is your idea or your opinion. Even with all the information you get in a lot of forums,  It all comes down to your personal preference.

I don`t see the SM3 being more bass-heavy than um3x, if any, SM3's bass is actually faster than um3x.
