I've been thinking of buying one of them. I couldn't decide. Could you help me to decide and also good points, bad points of them.

The Nationite NaNite N2 is a rebranded Cube C30,...

It's also the RoCoo A I believe,...I want to try one myself,.. Both the clip+ and the C30/N2/RoCoo A are pretty cheap - get both. Then, resell the loser.

I love my clip+

Flac, small, clip, screen.

I carry it around WITH my cowon s9 right beside it

Clip+ can be rockboxed....one of them goes with me almost everywhere I go.L3000.gif

I've been wondering the same thing.

The Clip has the advantage in terms of size and rockbox.

But the N2 has BBE.

I dont have experience with either, or any player with BBE or Rockbox actually. So I'm wondering the same thing.

Also, whats really so great about Rockbox? Looking at Sansa Rockbox forums on another site, I saw a lot of people having stability issues when using Rockbox with their Clip+. I also didnt see any feature on the Rockbox site that made me go wow. Someone enlighten me?

(Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread)

I have both my clip+'s Rockboxed and they are excellent!!! I just want to try a Cube C30/NaNite N2/RoCoo A - I've got a good friend in H.K. looking for the 32gb model as I type,... Just because I own a clip+ w/RB doesn't mean I won't try something different, after all - that's what Head-Fi is supposed to be all about, constantly looking for the best in SQ, and I try w/portable players.

The cube c30 is the same as the hippo gumstick

there are already many players with same housing  (Cube C30, Rocoo-A, Rocoo-B, Hippo Gumstick, Soricom Endless, Nationite Nanite N2, Howking HS801, SilverHT, etc)

some of them have BBE, the other has PlayFx

its make me curious, does all of them have a same internal components?

some of them have BBE, the other has PlayFx => Some of them are OEM'ed by Cube, and come with BBE if they already to pay for the extra licensing fee. PlyaFX is free to implement. Also, some are clone of Cube product.

its make me curious, does all of them have a same internal components? No. There is two different hardware spec for that housing, at least. One is SigmaTel based (i.e. C30), the other is Rockchip based (i.e. Rocoo-A). Not sure about the clone stuff whihc probably not using the same level of chip.

Alone, yes. But N2 comes with better IEM and international warranty (especially since MP4 Nation already setup a store at USA), C30 is more of a parallel import with risk on your own.

If nothing goes wrong, I should receive my Clip+ with in the next two weeks. Will post a review of Clip+ vs C30 after I get to play with it.

TBH I don't want the N2's IEM's at all - I hate IEM's(well, my ears do - I get ear infections from them - and I'm 43, so it's a chronic condition),...and I have a good friend in H.K. who is looking into procuring a Cube C30 for me. I'm trying to find an original model w/the BBE sound enhancements,...and I won't settle for less. Me buying from MP4 Nation, IMO, is settling.

It is up to you. C30 should be quite cheap at HK, so you might get a good deal there.

C30 is 4G,yes?(30$ in Shenzen),N2 is 8G,price you know.
