Looking for a DAC. I would imagine that a DAC same price as a DAC/Amp combo would be better quality w/o the amp. Am I wrong? Either way, here is what I'm looking for!

I have windows 7 pc, macbook pro, akg k701, prophonic 2x-s IEMs, and a heed canamp. Right now I am not using the IEMs with any sort of amp. This DAC will be used w/ both the PC and the macbook pro.
