Everyone by now has seen those tempurpedic commercials where you can order a free package and brochure that comes with a sample of the foam. This stupid little piece of foam is your ticket to hours on end of listening comfort. My problem with headphones is that I have a head shape where only the top takes the weight and eventually gives me a sore spot. I see a lot of dj's and producers with curios balding spots in that same place. My fix to this problem is to take that piece of foam, cut it from a rectangle to a square, next cut it diagonally not to make equilateral triangles but two ramps if you get what I mean. The thinner ends go in the center while the thicker end is points outwards. How ever you want to mount these to your headphones is up to you. I'm open to some solutions better than mine for example where to get a soft leather wrap for a nicer look. For now I used a really soft old shirt sleeve to hold it to the headband. Its like listening to a cloud(with real tubes). I'm glad I didn't do anything permanent yet to my new Denon ah-d7000's because one ear side slightly distorts when pumped a bit(damnit I hate returns). Anyways enjoy!

I thought about trying this a while ago, but sadly they do not offer the free sample in Canada
Nab a chunk off someones mattress when they're not looking. You could always pay $80 for a pillow and harvest a bit hahahaha I think its worth it absolutely.
