I recently got a pair of dt 770's and I'm extremely happy with them, but they can be extremely sharp at times, depending on the recording, they seem to be insanely fickle. Pretty much my whole library is lossless, and I find they don't really care about that, some songs they will just punish your ears. Looking for an amp in the 2-300$ range, that will not add a ton of warmth, but will tame these highs a bit.If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful, also they are the 250ohm pro version. I use a Fiio e9 right now, it drives them fine, I just need the sibilance lessened a bit.
