Sennheiser HD 380 Pro Headphones

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I HAVE IMAGES, just click on the boxes above ^^ , for some reason they aren't showing up on my browser at least.

I am putting up my pair of Sennheiser HD 380 Pro headphones for sale.  I recently bought them off a friend for about $140, but now I must sell them because I need money to buy books for college (I attend Biola University), FYI these headphones are listed with a MSRP of $300 on Sennheiser's website.

Here is the manufacturer's description:

The HD 380 Pro professional monitoring headphone is designed to exceed the demands of the professional environment. The HD 380 Pro provides an extended frequency response with increased sound pressure level (up to 110 dB) for accurate sound reproduction in demanding applications. Not only that, but the lightweight, secure and rugged design offers a comfortable listening experience for long recording sessions. Accessories include a detachable, 3.2-foot coiled cable (extendable up to 9.8 ft.), a carrying case, and a screw-type 1/4" (6.3 mm) jack adapter.  Closed, circumaural design for excellent passive attenuation of ambient noise (up to 32 dB), Exceptionally lightweight and comfortable for extended listening,Replaceable single-sided, coiled cable with 3.5mm jack connector and screw type 1/4" adapter

Reduced comb filter effects and distortion due to E.A.R. (Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement) and Duofol diaphragms, and Includes slimline carrying case.

As we all know, sound is subjective, but I will attempt to describe it nonetheless:

The highs are crystal clear, the Mids are warm, and the bass is punchy, but not overwhelming.  Although I must admit that the sound separation could be better between the mids and bass at times.

The sound stage is excellent, and because of this quality, the music reproduced by these headphones is very immersive.

Although these headphones aren't classified as "noise-cancelling", they do an excellent job of it nonetheless because of its design.

Of all the headphones i have owned, these were among the most comfortable, and could wear them for hours at a time with minimal discomfort.

Comes with: Headphones, original carrying case, and 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter

PRICE: $100 + shipping

If you have any further questions, please contact me ASAP!

Thank you for your interest.

Is the hd 380- better than the ath m50s ??

Depends on what your looking for really, I found the hd380 to produce a much more realistic soundstage, better for hi-fi listening, and much more comfortable.

They both sound similar in my opinion though, although the mids are slightly better on the M50s and the bass is more emphasized.  But in contrast, the HD380s produce a more balanced tone and have a smoother frequency response curve.

FYI the drivers in the HD380s are the same ones found in the HD595

Thanks..but i think i wil stick to an m50 as bass is important than soundstage .

The stripes you see are just shadows given off because of the lighting.  They are in great condition.

Hi, i am thinking of buying these (from a shop, i know they are sold, i live in UK anyway so shipping would have been a bit expensive...)    i read your original post and just want to ask what you think of them in terms of similar priced headphones or cheaper headphones and if they are good and produce good sound quality compared to them, also now that you have sold them ;) what you think the biggest problems with them were and what you didnt like about them..
