As the title, I am selling a like new condition Audio-gd RE5 DSP.
It is in perfect working condition and looks just like the way it was when I received it from Audio-gd.
The signal wires use Double Helix Cables (DHC) OCC copper Nucleotide.
It has 4 digital inputs (2 toslinks and 2 BNC - I can provide a BNC to RCA adapter if needed). Unlike many BNC jacks, this RE5 uses the best BNC jacks from Canare.
There is no USB input, there are various USB to S/PDIF converters out there and IMO, the technology is still maturing, so I would rather have S/PDIF inputs. The RE5 is now discontinued, so this is your chance to get one of the best R-2R based DACs.
I'm selling this because I recently acquired Berkeley Alpha DAC (a $5k DAC). I recently upgraded my entire speaker system.
The price listed above does not include shipping fees and paypal fees (if there is any).
If you want to purchase the same RE5 as mine from Audio-gd, it's gonna cost you more than $1140 ($1010+$40 for DHC wires upgrade+$90 for shipping+$... for additional inputs+3% paypal fees)
