I bought an Audio-Technica ATH-M50 last week and I am very pleased with the sound quality. The volume is already loud enough without an amp. However I am wondering what DAC/Amp would be appropiate for improving its sound quality even further. I would also find the volume knob on an amp/DAC more useful than fiddling with the volume tray icon in windows. I am currently using a Realtek HD integrated sound card on my laptop and playing FLACs through foobar.
