Auzen Prelude Vs. Creative T HD

Firstly I'm rubbish at writing reviews as I'd much rather talk about them. So I'm going to keep this short and sweet but keep it to the point . I had the Prelude for a little over a year so obviously I know the thing like the back of my hand. I received the Titanium HD today (my old card was damage sadly). I'll get to the Prelude in a while. First impressions of the T HD is very nice and warming, with multiple option choices. However, when you use them to set the scene (Music/Films/Games) it seems to be lacking something very special. Although it definitely compensates for the diversity of a few different settings what other cards do not give. Needless to say it still lacks the ability to put a beaming smile on your face like the Auzentech Prelude.

Speaking of the Daddy, Team Auzentech built this thing more than 5 years ago now and it's head and shoulders above Team Creative's latest attempt. Yes! they actually built this card only 6 months ago too. Quite shocking when you think about it, particularly as they go under the name “Creative"! The Auzen gives you diamonds and pearls, whilst Creative gives you fools gold. It’s all due  to the sheer quality of the PCB, Components, and the Ompamp, they’re worlds apart. Honestly, if you've never heard the brilliance from the Prelude? and you're used to hearing the sound via any of Creative's sound cards? You're really missing out! I can't comment on the Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe or the Essence STX though. Mainly because Asus are renown for being the charlatans of the pack when it comes to computer components. Maybe not with their latest and greatest sound card however?!

Would I recommend you getting a Creative X-Fi Titanium HD sound card? Yes! .....only if you can’t get the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude.

Overall via Music/Film/Games:

Auzentech X-Fi Prelude: 9.7

Creative X-Fi Titanium HD: 8.8
