Audio Technica CK-10 successor? CK-10 availability?

Hi,

So I'm told that if I like the UE Triple Fis, and I love them, then the CK-10s are for me.

The CK-10s sound similar, but they are: built to last, have no microphonics, and are extremely comfortable.

Are these true statements?  If so, I want a new pair.  But to my dismay, are these little guys still being sold?  Any new contenders as of Jan 2011?

Thanks!

I will be receiving mine tomorrow from amazon.co.uk ;-) Can't wait!

Cheers,

The Triple.Fi 10 and CK10 don't sound alike.  They are pretty different from each other.

The CK10 isn't sold in the US, but they are still made, same with the CK100 even.  You just need to buy them through an importer or find a fellow Head-fier that is selling theirs.

The Triple.Fi 10 is a big unique in their sound.  There isn't exactly another high end earphone that sounds a lot like it.  To switch to another product would require you to answer the question: what would you like to keep in terms of sound of your Triple.Fi 10 and what would you like to change and how?

Answer that and we can point you to an appropriate replacement.
