vintage Akai M8 tube headphone amp

Picked this up locally from a buddy this weekend.  The suitcase contains a reel to reel player and two mono-block tube amps.  The tube compliment is two 12AD7, one 6X4, one 6BQ5 and one 6AR5 in each amp.  The amps also have inputs for line level, turntable and microphone.  Has a preamp out too.  Not the best sounding set up I've heard using the RtR as the source.......but cool as hell!!!

 

Need to get the adapters to feed it a TT or CD source.

Very cool! Almost purchased one of those about a year ago but the price was way too steep. I love the looks of it.
