Actually, not such a high valuably teddy bear, but one of my old friends in Thailand describes her old teddy friend just like that!

And I still remember carrying him through Bangkok in public transportation system in the Christmas crowds, a bear the life size of a common Thai, all of the surrounding crowd pointing and laughing at a big man carrying a bear almost the size of a grown up Thai person in public, embarrassed by the public attention!

And my old girl friend still having such a fond feeling for him!

just came back from the carnival?

Actually Steiff US had a competition for Steiff owners whose bears got some interesting stories behind them. The one who got picked will have the honour of Steiff turning their bear into a limited edition bear and they will get the No.1 which is usually reserved for archive. This year's one I think is called Teddy Poverman. Last year was Teddy Blum from Blum's family..

This bear is so stupidly cute but the price is a bit steep.

Yup, the price is high for those exclusive and limited production Steiff bears.

I love his little tartan hat and scarf, though! :)
