Sennheiser HD 800, where i live a guy is selling, do u think this is a good deal?

Do you think this is a good deal?

I was looking at his post, (link to come), but i'm looking at what he paid for the amp.  I'm going to assume that amp is not going to make the headphone shine.

I need some thunderous headphones lol with good sound.

I bought a pair of Bayerdynamic DT770's off of someone here, worked good for 3 years or 4.  Then the cold air or something i guess cracked the plastic driver inside. So some bass notes buzz a bit.

Lol thanks, I didnt think it would be a hair.  I was thinking that because I was kinda using them as earmuffs :) hehe, while shoveling the roof a few times in the winter (but had a hoodie on and it wasnt that cold), that could of been it.  I shouldnt ask here, but does anyone know anyone from Montreal or surrounding selling a good pair of cans with a good amp? I'd like to buy a nice all in one package lol.  Even in ear is good, I can use those at work, but if I get big ones i'd like i think "closed" ones, so my wife cant complain lol :)
