I'm using a pair of Allen & Heath's XD-53 which are rebadged ATH-PRO700, and they do sound quite nice through my PA2V2L3000.gif. The specs of the regular ATH-PRO700 to the MK2 version didn't change much, so I take it that they would respond nicely to a PA2V2, which is right on your budget. Check for reviews around and on Gary's site: http://www.electric-avenues.com/amplifiers.html

By the way, do the ATH-PRO700MK2 finally replaced the plastic headband for a metal one, or something more resistant? I didn't get the regular ATH-PRO700 because of that, got my XD-53 as they are better built, and with a metal headband to avoid cracking.

Sorry, I don't know, what differences are between PRO700 and PRO700MK2, because my headphones are on the way to me...

PA2V2 looks good. I wonder about this AMP. I looked for CMoy, but it's not right for me, I think.
And this AMP with battery is better than PA2V2, or no? It looks good and price is similar:

PRO700MK2 has slightly better specs, and seem to improve on the mids compared to the regular PRO700. Since they have very similar specs, they should respond on a similar way to amps.

LDM+ and PA2V2 are similarly priced indeed, and from what I can tell, LDM+ has a more neutral sound (some consider it too lean or weak) while PA2V2 has a slightly warmer sound. Both seem to drive the same headphones in a similar way, so it depends on what kind of sound signature you prefer. Though I never heard LDM+, but PA2V2 is a very good match to my XD-53 (PRO700), makes the sound feel more alive and more pleasant to the ear smily_headphones1.gif

Also, I think PA2V2's battery lasts longer, more than 100hours per charge, compared to LDM+ which lasts half as much.

OK. And listening music without AMP is sh*t?

I have concerns, if this AMP can drive my headphones with enough power... So PA2V2 is best AMP for me in this price?
And AMP for using only on AC is bad for me, now. Since, I listening music, when I traveling. OK, I can buy PA2V2, but I don't want to do a mistake. You recommend me PA2V2, from all AMPs? Thank You...

And what you think about this AMPs?

- I can build CMoy at home, create case for it (no Altoids) and add circuit for charger... But I don't know, if this CMoy has got better sound than PA2V2. Really Thanks...

From personal experience, ATH-PRO700 sounds ok without an amp, but the sound is just better when amped, so it probably works the same with PRO700MK2.

PA2V2 is a portable amp, you put a pair of rechargeable batteries inside, when it's plugged on AC it charges the batteries, and when fully charged, it lasts more than 100 hours. I don't have experience with many amps, but I do know that I have no regrets about buying PA2V2. I do recommend it, it's a fun amp, battery lasts forever, and the customer service is the best I have ever had.

Most CMoy amps are weaker than PA2V2. Usually people that don't want to spend much get a Fiio E5, or if they already want something with better sound, they get a PA2V2. It's up to you how much you want to spend.
