Waterproof headphones

Are there any decent sounding headphones that are waterproof- or at least water resistant?

I sweat a lot when exercising and am worried my headphones will eventually be drowned.
(The KSC-35 are the best for exercise IMHO, but without their foamies (long story) I'm not sure how much longer they'll last during jogs and cycling)

Have you tried Radio Shack foamies? Do you have RS in Australia? They work a lot better than the original ones.

u know the pointy bits that hook the foamies in? they're long gone.

they snapped/broke off- which is why my original foamies fell off.

i don't know of any way i can put other (eg. radioshack) foamies on because there's no longer anything to hold them in place.

Last time I checked, Koss had an awesome warranty. Give em a call

only problem is that i'm in australia.

i've sent my headphones (hoping to get a replacement)- it took 3 months to come back and they had fixed it by giving it a new 1/8" plug.

(something i can do in 20 mins)

so now i'm looking for a new pair of durable/water resistant exercise phones.

AFAIK the ksc-35 are extinct here in oz.

Unfortunately, tktran, all of the currently available "water-resistant" headphones are wretched-sounding. I own a few Sony "Sports" VITE headphones, which have too much mid-bass, no low-bass extension, woolly mids and grainy highs.

Yeah i had a pair of MDR-A30G (US$25) vertical in-ear headphones (basically earbuds with thin and light plastic strap that sits over your head)

they died after about 6 months with normal use (again a problem with the 1/8" connector)

I repaired em myself but they still sound wretched.

It's really too bad there aren't many _real_ exercise headphones.
