Even the same system heard twice from the "same" listening position can sound different, more than likely because of comb-filtering than anything else. See post #3.

Some times my music sounds rubbish because my mood is rubbish. I also find that late at night is when music sounds the best. Measure that, as it it is nothing to do with the electronics.t

Or when you've got a cold or a sinus infection, or the flu...
