Considering buying a PSP as a portable source, just seen the PSP 3000 anyone know if the sound is great or not? I'd be using audio technica ATH-ES7 if that helps?

PSP-1000, if talking purely of sound "quality", it is fine. It just does not have power (cannot drive V500DJ even).

Well, PSP3000 & PSP Go are excellent as games devices,...avoid using as a portable audio device AT ALL COSTS!!! wink.gif

Samsung Tab then? Psp's are neat and all but are getting outdated imo... You might hold out for the 3DS coming soon, if you wanting a gaming machine. Who knows...
