It's the same Jim Fosgate who started the company which eventually became Rockford Fosgate, he's no longer associated with the company.

That's gorgeous

oh yes it is...

I wonder how the crossfeed will perform compared to, say, a phonitor..

A friend who is a Fosgate dealer confirmed that the projected price should be around $1500, time to start saving the pennies.... rolleyes.gif

does your friend know anything about the crossfeed circuit?

"...Combining a tube input stage with a solid-state output, it will include a loudness control, spatial enhancement circuit, and built-in DAC..."

Why?

Maybe I'm reading this wrong. Is it de facto loudness controll and spatial enhancement - or is it "you can tune the sound by tube rolling"?

no, the "loundness control" (which is basically a bass boost) and the "spatial enhancement" circuit can both be bypassed.

So....

8 months later...

The Fosgate Signature amp is currently available:

http://www.musicdirect.com/p-65785-fosgate-signature-headphone-amp.aspx

ESL-1 was right about the price:

$1,499.00

Has any head-fier bought it yet?

Or even auditioned it?
