I contacted musical surroundings, The amp will get out in april and retail for 1500$.

A friend who is a Fosgate dealer confirmed that the projected price should be around $1500, time to start saving the pennies.... rolleyes.gif

Maybe I'm reading this wrong. Is it de facto loudness controll and spatial enhancement - or is it "you can tune the sound by tube rolling"?

no, the "loundness control" (which is basically a bass boost) and the "spatial enhancement" circuit can both be bypassed.
