Maybe I'm reading this wrong. Is it de facto loudness controll and spatial enhancement - or is it "you can tune the sound by tube rolling"?

no, the "loundness control" (which is basically a bass boost) and the "spatial enhancement" circuit can both be bypassed.

what about the dac? I do not see anything about it on musical surrounding's website..
