Looking for a Marshall Major clone that actually sounds good

First-time poster here!

Does anyone know of any quality cans that resemble the style/design of the Marshall Majors? Love the small, square look but haven't been able to find anything that looks similar and performs better; the Marshalls are essentially $49 headphones that cost $99 because they say "Marshall". Not interested in that, besides I'm willing to spend twice as much :D

Here's what I'm looking for in more general detail:

- small, on-ear design (square preferred, not required)

- closed back

- highly portable (rather than transportable as I saw someone say)

- good for wearing and listening on the go

- pronounced bass response

- <$250

I likely won't be using a headphone amp; source is an iphone 4 with higher quality recordings.

Hope this is enough to get some suggestions!

Edit: Figured I'd mention I have HD280 Pros, which are solid studio monitors but not at all what I'm looking for "on-the-go".

What did you end up getting?

I'm trying to find the same thing. I like the look and functionality of the Marshall Major's but some reviews say the sound quality isn't up to par. The only other headphones I'm considering are the Sennheiser HD25's, PX200's or Aiaiai TMA-1.

The PX200's seems great because they're so portable but not sure I like the design or sound quality. The other two would be great but they don't seem as portable as they don't fold away at all - and the Aiaiai cups look even bigger than the HD25 though I'm not sure.
