Where did you order from? Razordogaudio said that they would be the only US sellers to get them till fall.

A user on the previous page posted a pic of the box. PM and ask if there are any distinguishing features...

If it's a straight cable, its the old version. They haven't come out with a straight cable face-lift.

Both facelift versions are readily available (in Europe that is), straight and coiled cable.

The facelift version has darker cups with the logo in relief while the original version had it printed in silver.

Oh I didnt know the straight was already available in Europe.  I had my concerns about getting a coiled cable as they add bulk, add unneeded wiring, and add weight but I think they did a really good job with this cable.

For mobile use a straight cable is normally less hassle, thats right. But if they managed to keep the weight down the coiled cable is more versatile I think.

For those Head-Fiers over here in Europe, I'm about to order a pair of straight cabled facelifts from HERE :)

Price is STEEP compared to you US Head-Fiers (about $350), but not much we can do over here but save up some more :(

I was offered $50 cash to keep the old DT1350 or I could return it for a full refund. I bought it for $217. Should I just keep the headphones? That would be getting it for $167.

Well I certainly would keep a DT1350 for $167. If you're talking about either keeping them or returning them to get the new "facelift" version... then why not just keep this one since you're getting a great deal and then get the new ear pads and new headband padding once they become available. That will make your old 1350 identical to the facelift version aside from the color of the cups (the old version says Beyerdynamic in silver, the facelift version is all black).

Same drivers, so I would take the deal...

Keep them for $167 -- very good price for what they offer.

I have the larger pads on my original DT1350, they don't do any wonders for comfort... so I'd say you're much better off with that steep discount.

I would like to replace the headband cushions with the new designs.
