I think he meant that's ludacris like you see that duck....sure it's ludacris.

Or something similar...biggrin.gif

Haha, I got you. Using the word instead of the Hip Hop artists name! In other words, a PUN! Haha, Buffalo I give you props for that brilliant pun.

dude i love this topic. none of you are serious. while in all seriousness i would buy either the sony mdr xb500 or the shure srh750dj. those are good for those who like bass. while i think the shure srh840 is a good studio can. highly reccomended.

Get the super special Best Buy edition (all black, no blue) PortaPros!

And get a few of them for the saved money so you can give them to people that did buy the Beats and found out how bad they actually are.

You know...they actually sound pretty good. No sarcasm. I'm one of the few people (That I know of. Anaxilus has really short impressions here too. I know that Joker asked for a review sample too.) that have actually heard them. Unless you heard them too.

WTF is up with the AKG pricing at BB? $320 for K271's? Ridiculous. I paid $60 for my pair. $200 is the most anyone should spend on them. Even that's a bit much.

OP, HD25, HD598, HD558...that's pretty much it with their good headphone assortment. There's the JVC M750, Koss PRO100/UR55 too.

I'd partake in the lack of seriousness, but I really can't get in trouble here haha.

The thing that bugs me about BB is that their online catalog has everything under the sun (you can get a Sennheiser HD650 if you want it!), yet their in-store selection is usually nowhere near as comprehensive. Case in point, my local outlet has exactly one decent headphone, a Sennheiser HD428. And it's all alone because they only have one of it. Certain items can't be found in any store, and others are rare as hen's teeth. It's frustrating to say the least if you glance at the online catalog, find something you like, then discover nowhere within 200 miles of where you live has the item in stock.

That said, I'll agree with Ishcabible's suggestions and add the SRH440 (I think you can see my personal bias). I think it's a pretty good bang for the buck; of the cans you can get at Best Buy (depending on where you live, as none of my locations stock them) it has to be in the top tier.

Exactly! Even though the HD650's are $500, at least they're listed. I'm sure each store would sell at least 1 too. But selling just 1 isn't economical. Or Bose and Monster pays BB to not stock good headphones. Actually, my BB has like 10 HD428s sitting on the shelves (actually, it's under the iPod demo table, invisible to most.)

I was going to add the Shures, but I completely forgot about them. They used to sell them at my local store too (well, 1 random lone one.) along with the SRH220. They got rid of the Portapro's though. I got the last pair months ago. Shame. I was thinking of getting another one for a friend since they were only $30.

Actually, of my above, it seems that the HD25's are the least marked up, for the Adidas modal anyways

I actually read your review on them Ish. I liked it a lot haha. I'm so glad someone made the plunge, and it's even better that the review came from an established member such as yourself. I added them in the quote upon request ;).
