Looking for a new pair of headphones

Hey guys, im a new head-fier, and im looking for a new pair of headphones, my friend in real life, recommended me the shure srh440s, and i was curious if anyone knew about other sets at a similar price-range (around 100$).  As a refrence, i usually listen to techno, and electronica music, however i also listen to alt. rock.  For awhile now, ive been listening to these cheap JVC Flats, which are nice and all, but i think id ilke to upgrade, so i was wondering if any of you had some suggestions? Thanks.

you can find the 440's for about $65 from electronics expo right now (with the coupon code techbargains) but they will probably be a bit bass light for techno and electronica

Ok then, thanks for the advice, could anyone recommend me a set with bass, and an ok range?  Mostly looking at them for home use, although ill still use them outside.  Dont really have an amp yet, but i do plan to get one here sooner of later.

DT770s, H-fi 780s, D2000, M50, XB700... The list goes on and on for bass heavy phones. But if you're looking for the $100 price tag I'm sure you're going to see quite a few ATH-M50 recommendations.

Or the Shure SRH750dj...a nice alternative to M50's.
