HELP!!!!! I may have a keylogger and need to test.

Ok, so last night my e-mail sent out a mass e-mail*to the 5 people I have e-mails for* and I'm freaked out, I have not download anything, bought,or opens any emails lately. I'm worried I have a key logger and some one phished my info, anyone have a way to test this with out using antivirus?

First of all, do you have an antivirus or something that protects against mal-ware?

 

If not, download a trial version of NOD32 or Kaspersky and do a scan.

Avast! Anti virus and Malwarebytes are two great and completely free programs.

 

I would download Malwarebytes, do a complete scan. Also Avast is a constant monitoring of your system.

If those don't find anything, try Sophos Anti-rootkit.

 

Edit: And change your email password, preferably to something randomly generated with at least 8 characters including capitalized letters, symbols and numbers. I use a different 12-30 char password on every site and manage them with LastPass.

ok thanks guys, yea it sent out a spam bot e-mail so I will try those, one good thing I possibaly infected a company selling fake headphones BUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

+1 on avast antivirus. it`s 4years since i trowed out F-secure. havent regreted that for a second. if my pc acts weird i always do a bootime scan. recommended.

alright, lol I changed my passwords form school, and am going to use my lappy top to order things untill I get this all taken care of DAMN YOU DAFTPUNK ON AMAZON!!!!!!!!*forgot to mention I downloaded that from amazon and then this happend*

 yea, I didn't even finish downloading it*I have slow Internet* I sent some one a message about it, I was using the torrent file for it since direct download form them SUCKS!!! but yea I thought it was kind of odd to.

Run the boot time scan with avast (if you can't find it, just let me know through PM or in this thread), then run a full scan with malwarebytes and you should be in the clear.

 

EDIT: How do you like 80i's? I was thinking of pairing those or the 60i's with my M50's.

I really like the 80i's i have them with the HFI580*m50's counter part on here* and I find them great, I liked them better than the 60i's more energetic over all. and thanks I will run a boot scan, started snowing so i said FUGGIT IM PLAYING IN THE SNOW!!!! and I ran malwarebytes and it turned up empty lol.

 

Edit: also MFW listening to Epica for the first time with the sr80i 1292912374248.jpg

I used to like them....now I REALLY LIKE THEM!!!!!! also look into the large pads, I got the g-cush's just because the trebble is a bit to harsh for me, anything to keep them from touching my ears lol.

Btw avast starts automaticly a boot-time scan after you have installed it.

Why would anyone use Avast or any paid antivirus over Microsoft Security Essentials? MSE is awesome. I still have 2 years of AV subscription and that's unused since I use MSE.

Avast is free and is just as good (most even say better) than MSE.

 

EDIT: WhiteCrow, what does your listening mostly consist of? Metal? Any rap, punk, or classical?
