I am interested in simplifying my life by combining my home and portable listening sources. All of my computers are Apple and keeping with that theme, I have decided to use either a new ipod classic or 64gb touch. I want my system to be semi portable, to be able to move from my nightstand to the livingroom. I does not have to be battery only, but it would be prefered. So what do I pair up with the ipod an istreamer for $200 or the solo for over $500. Are there any other ipod specific external dacs that I should be looking at? IMOD?Both units are in my budget.
