Best music player under $100?

I am thinking of getting into portables since I don't like spending all my time at my desk so...

 

First of all what would be the best portable replacement for my uDac? I will keep my home amp and when I AM at my desk I'll plug in my player to the amp via 3.5mm to RCA cable.

Second of all what is the best bang-for-your-buck IEM or portable under $200 (used or new)? I have had the HD650 and K701, so something that is not a disappointment.

Are portable amps worth it?
