My Portapros use to be my go to pair for exercise and outdoor activities, but it was replaced by Bose IE2. They're open design, cheap (well around $100), incredibly comfortable, stay in place all the time, and are perfect for podcasts, which is pretty much all I listen to when I exercise. I really like that I can have them in, be listening to something, and still have a conversation with my wife. Although she hates that..
