A very important question about my copies with EAC

Hello,

By mistake, I copied several CDs on my PC by unchecking the option : "Drive caches audio data", while my DVD player uses the cache !

But, I checked : "Drive has Accurate Stream feature" and unchecked : "Drive is capable of retrieving C2 error information".

Copies went smoothly, no errors.

I would like to know if this option was important and if I again have to copy my CDs or not ? Or is the quality is the same ?

Thank you.

I hope you find your information there http://blowfish.be/eac/

Anyway, my personal preference is to check the rips with Accurate Rip/

Hello,

Thank you, this is a great help.

Also,
I inform you that after a few listens, I can hear the difference.

This option is very important ("Drive caches audio data"). The best result, for me, is obtained by checking : "Drive caches audio data" and unchecking : "Drive is capable of retrieving C2 error information", with Accurate Stream feature activated of course.

And I'm going to copy all my CDs again.

Thank you.

Yeah, better this way,

remember, to save your profile in EAC after configuring, this way you can load it, after every install,

but, please be blackblink.gif
