Not sure if this has been posted here but MP4Nation just added a picture of the upcoming dual armature phones, look a lot like DBA-02:

I was about to report on these as well.

Whoa, an absolute copy of DBA-02. I had the... uh... chance to try them out today in a headphone exhibition and I have to say that they are also similar sounding with the signature being bright and clear (like the DBA-02). I THINK the DBA-02 has a better mid and mid bass though.

From what I heard, these will be at least around $160.... or even higher. So, it'll be "interesting" to see what will happen next.

I wonder if they're a copy or just sourced from the same vendor. Always room for more good things. Maybe this will fill that hole in the supply line. I would guess these of the same overall quality but perhaps slightly different in voice due to xover or filter. Thanks for the info.

Very curious about these.  Wow.  Can't wait till Clieos or Joker review these to see how they compare to the Fischers.

Maxwell - how did you here these?  Did Mp4nation send out review headphones?

Hong Kong is currently holding a headphone exhibition, these were on previews for people to sample.

looks exactly like the DBA-02, minus the cabling, appears to be identical to the ones used on the m2 and m3

I would guess same vendor but not a copy - the DBA-02 is custom-tuned by Fischer so they are bound to be at least a little different even if the internals are the same.

Isn't there the possibility that it is the DBA-02 rebranded. I mean Fisher does put your own brand if you wish on their products. At least that is what it seemed to me from what I read on their website.

Well Fischer isn't an OEM :) However if it is a dual driver I'd be surprised if it was not a TWFK. Inside that shell there's not too much room for much else.

The DBA got cloned!

on the about tab of fischer audio states that "Private labeling is available on most models", so I guess people can oder a lot under their own brand name...

but hasn't the DBA-02 been out of stock for months? (they were available recently, but once again out of stock)

Since I know about DBA-02 that it has been out-of-stock, lol! I mean you have only a small window in time when they are available.

May be that is why the brainwavz brand is trying their opportunity.

Is this a Brainwavz brand iike the M1 or will it be a ViSang rebranded like the majority of the rest of their earphones?

As for the DBA limited availability I think it has more to do with Fischer than anything else. They are a very small company and do not have the financial resources as some other companies so everything is sold in much more limited quantities and they are unable to have as many products made as bigger companies are.
