Tube amps startuptime ?

Hi guys 

 

Newb question, do all tube amps have a start up time before they make any sound ? and if so what is the general start up time ? 1-2min or ?

This is pretty common. My headphone amp has a slow-start process that takes about 10 seconds. My speaker amps, and my pre-amp, all take about 45 seconds (on power on and off). I believe it is to help increase tube life.
