If you have the option to turn it up, dont. Set it for whatever the headphones are. The amp will still be used at 50 ohms.

So irregardless of what I set the impedance to, it will only give 50 Ohms to my headphones?
I just tried to turn it up. It's WAY louder on the 300-600 Ohm level. I can't hear a difference in audio quality though, just VERY loud.
If you set your impedance to high on a low impedance headphone you may possibly damage your headphone, be careful.
