Repair Super.fi 5 Pro?

Hi all, my super.fi 5 pro are out of warranty and in need of repair. The right phone has a loose wire somewhere, and I have to fiddle with it to get any sound. And now the left one has detached completely, but not in the way it's supposed to - the two male wires  are still plugged into the female connector, but the connector itself has detached itself from whatever it used to be attached to inside the phone.

I would hate to throw these out, as I really like them and they weren't cheap. Is anyone here prepared and able to repair them for a small fee (negotiable)? Failing that, can anyone tell me how best to do it myself, and what tools/materials I would need?

Thanks in advance.

Can you take a picture? It would be easier to understand the condition if you do.

I will upload a photo as soon as I get a chance. The wires are supposed to be detachable, and at the end of each is a male plug with two contacts which plug into a female socket in the earpieces. That female socket has come out of the left earpiece, with the plug still in it. They need to be taken apart and reassembled, and I don't have the expertise. If anyone out there does, I would offer a decent fee for a service!

you can always just get them reshelled.

Thanks for your reply. How do I do that, is there a company that offers this service or a head-fier who can do it? They also need to be fixed, because like I said the female socket on the left earpiece has fallen off.

Final bump - does anyone have any information about how to repair super.fi 5 pro, or else know of a company or individual that offers a repair service?

Unique Melody along with a few other companies in the US re-shell IEM's and should not have a problem with re-shelling a superfi5pro.

What this entails is taking the internal components of the SF5Pro (the drivers, wiring and crossovers) and placing them inside a custom moulded acryllic shell that is made to perfectly fit your ear.

The sockets and wiring are replaced with 2 pin detachable cables and sockets.

All in all this will address your issue of loose wiring and leave you with a full shell custom.

This is a picture of the last SF5Pro reshell that we did, however we did add a Mid driver to this one.
