I was looking on the Headwize forums a few minutes ago, just for the heck of it, and found my very first post.

I have to look at that and just laugh, and laugh
Funny how I think I will never get an amp... and here I am with two... and so much money used into this addictive hobby...

So, I'm wondering, what were your first posts at headwize/headfi, especially other veteran members? I'm sure we can get a kick out of it.

Well, chych, I found *my* crappy first post! I AM reaaaally embarrassed that I had said the Sony MDR-V900DJ was "good"!! (Unfortunately, I found that first post buried with the "posted on 0-00-0000 at 12:00 AM". It was in response to a recommendation from "Jeffrey Karp" for the MDR-CD series headphones - the CD2000 and CD780 were mentioned. I know "Jeffrey Karp" is still alive - he had posted in HeadWize in the Electronics & Accessories Forum back at HeadWize a month and a half ago, well after the WTC attacks - he's just waaaaaay too busy these days to even post in these forums.)

I can't find mine right now, but I'm pretty sure it was asking about the best closed headphones for a mix of games and mp3s, under $100.

My first post--ahhh, it was an awakening, my graduation into adulthood. I was a teenager cutting her lawn, dreaming of buying my first car....
She was in her late 30's, drank a little too much after her husband ran off with a cocktail waitress. It was a hot day; I was
wearing only shorts & she invited me in for a lemonade....
errrr...I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum?

something about the szekeres amp which tomo was kind enough to answer,he being one of the first to actually build the amp.

My first post was in "headphone sightings 2." I think I was a lurker for a month until then.

Of course, this thread is from such a long time ago...I think the people who posted in this thread before mine would be surprised to read these posts now.

Back in the Dark Ages of 2002, my first post was recommending HeadRoom call their planned MP3-player "the WATTermelon". 

 

The MP3 player never happened, and that old HeadRoom sponsor forum is now gone.
