Clipping issue

I hear some distortion in some songs, and Im assuming its clipping somewhere.  I hear it mainly on vocals on a loud note.  The funny thing is that I hear it on my home rig, but not my laptop rig... with the same exact files.  Can anyone see where things might be going wrong?  The file in question is a 320 kbps mp3.

Home rig: Mac -> itunes -> uDAC 2 -> LD MK III -> Beyer DT880

Laptop rig: WIndows XP -> Subsonic music streamer -> uDAC 2 -> Phonak PFE

Are you using the iTunes equalizer?

Using EQ can result in clipping unless done properly. Any time EQ is used to boost a frequency (rather than to attenuate) you might get clipping. To avoid clipping with EQ, lower the "preamp" slider below 0db. For example if 12hHz is the highest, and boosted up two notches, then lower the preamp down two notches. Then turn up the volume knob on the amp to get it back to the desired overall volume.

I was using the equalizer.  I had switched it on and forgotten to turn it off.  Had I known I was using it, I might have thought of that.  Thanks for the help.
