Wow it's a miracle... UPS just delivered my package. On the other note, just got bombed with $60 of various "fees".....

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

hm...I've really never had a problem with UPS. The people at the UPS store closest to where I live are really quite nice too.
I don't even live in Canada and I know about the woes of UPS fees there lol
I live in Canada and I never had any issues with UPS. I never got charged any fees unless the value was over $100 USD and of course custom fees would apply. Fedex has always charged me fees for every single package delivered and the vast majority of them have had a value of less than $100.

HEY!
you KNOW what!
You're trash!
Jk, ily :)
I got pissed at UPS because they charged me 180 dollars for an international package.
^ oh DAMN! $180! I figured the feel was 30% of the cost, which is ridiculous...
They charged me $150 for shipping my PC from Missouri to Virginia. It arrived damaged. It was a pleasure dealing with customer support though. Even when I didn't, THEY followed up with the damaged claim. It was just my CPU cooler though. I paid $20 for it but the retail was $30 so I profited $10.
I just hate shipping period. I am forming my own company: Catapult Express. $5 and your package in delivered in/around/near its destination within seconds/minutes. International would be difficult though.
