Regretting Recent iPod Purchase: Sell and Get HM-602 or 801?

Hey Everybody,

I've been trolling the forums here and been regretting my recent purchase of an iPod more and more. So, here are three questions for you:

1. Is there any way to get good sound out of a 4th gen. Touch using a LOD and an amp?

2. If not, should I sell my iPod (pristine condition, only few weeks old) and use the money to get a HiFiman HM-602 or 801?

3. Can the HM-602 or 801 power HD650's comfortably/well? I'm looking to drive these as well as some new IEMs.

Thanks,

Michael

The ipod touch is prolly the best sounding ipod and has a pretty good sound quality. But if you are tryin to run the hd650 directly off them then it will not sound good since they need more power. If you do plan on spending on an HM801, you can also consider the new high end player Colorfly.

Yea you can always improve its SQ by using an LOD and an amp.

The HM 601 and 801 have enough power to drive hd 650
