New Miles Davis Trumpet (not Tribute) earphones - Page 2

I'm assuming it's a micro dynamic driver ala JVCs.

BA's are not in the Monster repertoire.  Maybe a MA someday, maybe.....

If they are micro drivers then they have good potential for treble and clarity which would suit the Trumpet name and design.  Maybe call them MDMDTs.     

Or you can call one the "Tributes" and one the "Trumpets".

I don't get the marketing hype, monster says they're the smallest drivers ever made or something like that right? I would have thought one of those tiny single armature based phones would win the worlds smallest IEM award

I get the feel of satelites, R2-D2, medical instrumentals, Stethoscopes...something some kid put together in his 'secret laboratory'. Intriguing I wanna know how they sound somebody get them and send em this way. Eric.

@ Ericp , Resistance is futile buddy ! These trumpet iem's will be your next purchace for sure ,Hand on heart you know you just gotta have em , i can feel it my bones buddy.
 

I think so too @  luco buddy...........until............I pop the 1964-Q in my ears, and then all sanity comes rushing  back in ..... The quads are the best IEMs I've ever heard (universal or custom - of course, this is my custom). Now, if the good kind people at Monster want to send me a loaner pair, a jazzhead like me would love to sample the sound. I mean, the did an excellent job with the first MD. But the only universal I may buy (and it needs to be discounted) is the W4. I think my next  purchase will be another custom though.

@Ericp , Forget the audio bliss of your quads for the moment and just concentrate on how great and stylish those miles Davis trumpet phones would look in your ears  buddy , You just can not pass up the opportunity to own such a beautiful tribute to one off your hero's ,and its your destiny to do a review on them for us ,you know it makes sense to get them lol
