Ah oh...competition for the Beats?

BIG BASS, no mids. I call it first.

They look nice, as usual.

Probably gonna be like $400.

Oh man this is what I´ve been looking for... Something to show the HD 800 who´s really the boss! Someone move this to the high end forum at once, STAX in in for some heavy competition...

If they use real carbon fiber I can't imagine them being any cheaper! Of course the carbon fiber wouldn't actually cost that much, but it's certainly a feature they could sell as "premium".

Considering how expensive the Beats are, and they are all plastic....

Would be interesting if they purchased something like the HD 800 to repackage under their brand name.

Cans like Beats et.al are volume sellers, vs the specialty market for HD800, if Sennheiser could get some huge volume orders for internals to sell in a different market that would really drive up their profit margin on the 800's.

Or will they try to reinvent the wheel.....Hmmmmmm.

Say it ain't so Sleek! At least they look more durable than the Beats. I may give them a listen if I find one on display.

Considering these are closed... I'd look at Foster before Sennheiser.

I'll start the bidding

Stay tuned for the Michael Jackson Moonwalk headphones by Beyerdynamic. The king left a note that was found by his estate saying that he found T1 the best headphone, if only they changed the color and the logo (and increased the price)! This year the dream comes true!

I can't wait for Starship inspired ibuds!!

Maybe Sennheiser signed up Prince Roger Nelson (The Artist Formally Known As Prince)... We could finally get some gold colored headphones. The personal GOLD EXPERIENCE!

Well, Sleek Audio has a decent reputation for sound quality, so I won't immediately dismiss this as a half-hearted marketing attempt. I'm no fan of 50 Cent, but if the 'phones sound good then we may be eating crow in a few weeks' time. Don't let us down, Sleek Audio!
