Playing god of war 2 now. -1 vote for the AD700. The lack of bottom end is really frustrating here. ED 8 and LCD-2 so much more enjoyable.
Lol, that's why you get a headphone for single player with a more colored sound, and one for strict competitive gaming (i.e. AD700). I certainly wouldn't use the D7000 for hardcore online gaming, but they are best I have ever heard for all other forms of gaming.
Well in my case the AD700 is among my coloured headphones. If it would be neutral it would simply have more bottom end. Even with 10 db bass boost on my receiver nothing really happens on the AD 700.
I am a single player guy though. I want the sound to enhance my gaming experience not my kill shot count. Also can anyone here see Kratos wearing purple AD700s anyway? I can´t imagine what dirty thing he would do to it and the person giving it to him.
I use my D5000 all the time... the k70x are the most accurate I've heard in terms of rendering faithful direction and proximity with the DT880 being a close second but at the end of the day my k/d hangs around 1.42 regardless of headphones, tv speakers, or HT so for me it's really just more for emersion and doesn't really impact how well I do. For s/p I like the denon's best for the sub like bass, same goes for movie watching.
