I am just discovering some new music that I have never listened to before. I think that because my old 770 Pro 80's didn't do blues or jazz well, I avoided it. Well, I have found that my Grados do these genres beautifully (to my ears at least) and I am now very much enjoying the new sounds, especially the blues. I recently discovered Lightnin' Hopkins so I was hoping for suggestions on other blues artists that I may also like. I know nothing about the genre having never listened to it before...thanks.

Texas blues, eh? You might also want to check out the Chicago electric sound, even though it's a different take on the blues. Otis Rush is worth a listen or fifty.

Arm and Hammer, I had to get out of bed to apologize and correct my post- I think it's T-Bone Walker (have in storage) that influenced SRV.
I'll have to go dig that out and confirm...

haha...no problem...either way...SRV is good stuff. I'll also check out T-Bone but it is good to know the correct influence...I appreciate your getting out of bed for the correction.
