MediaMonkey v4 Alpha released, now supports WASAPI output

This isn't on their front page or anything so I thought I'd give everyone the heads up here.

Up until now WASAPI hasn't been supported by MediaMonkey, even via plug-ins. WASAPI is now native and default. For me this is the best feature addition, but check out the massive changelog - they've obviously been working hard.

I've been using foobar2000 and managing my playlists with iTunes for my iPod, but will most likely fully switch to MediaMonkey as it has full sync support for iPod (and I think all portable devices).

A little warning - I installed the alpha but have been unable to get it to work with exclusive WASAPI with my dac via usb or optical out.. it just crackles (non-exclusive WASAPI works fine). As this is the first alpha one can't complain. I'm sure this will be excellent software when finished.

Sweet!

Only thing missing was wasapi. We're half way there now.
