Attention US head-fiers - order from amazon france for big discounts!?!?

i just pulled the trigger on some $260 sennheiser OMX 980's and got em for $xxx from amazon france!!! 

I havent looked around for other deals yet, but this is certainly worth looking into for your future purchases.

heck $xx worth of my order was shipping and even so i saved nearly $xxx

Is this perhaps a Euro to USD conversion error? An explanation would be quite useful for feeling secure if one where to try this.

well there is a currency converter right on amazon. and i double checked all the amounts before hitting pay because i also found it hard to believe.  i think what may have happened is that i found a fluke item that happened to be a lot cheaper in france for some reason.  but regardless, i 100 percent got myself a cheap pair of OMX 980's.   The payment process, like always on amazon was very clear and straight forward, and i used google translate any time i didnt understand the french.   hopefully others will get as lucky as me!

 

also, you can take the purchase all the way up to the final payment button and still back out.. so at that point you can know for sure exactly what youre gonna pay.

I think the bottom line is that its worth checking the price in other countries when ordering from amazon..  I'm going to start doing this whenever i buy something big from amazon from now on.
