On the IPOD connector side of things one has ground, left and right signal out. When creating a line out cable to RCA, you obvisouly need four signal wires on the RCA connector side of things.
More out of curosity than anything, can anyone think of pros / cons of the following options:
1. Run 3 wires from the connector until the y spilt at to the RCA connectors and splice the 4th wire in there
2. Carefully run 2 ground wires right from the ground pin(s) at the IPOD connector, one to each RCA plug.
I don't think I would be able to hear a difference, but option 1 would be a little easier to make I think.
