WHOHOO! Just ordered my Valhalla

Cant wait xD

 

I plan on ordering some AKG 701's *hopefully* the 15th. I figure my A700's should hold me over for another 15 days. Whats the break in period for a tube amp? About 10 hours?

I didn't notice any change in the sound even after several hundred hours.

 

My Valhalla sounded awesome tight from the start :)

ugrh...... i cant wait.... ive never had any good audio eq. so i cant wait... Heck, my jaw dropped when i went from my iPhone earbuds to my AT A700s :p

Well then your head may explode with the Valhalla and 701s.  I enjoy the heck out of my 702s (Cardas) and Asgard.  Enjoy and post some pics for us to drool over when you get them.

ugrhhhhhhhh.... now youve done got me anxious... ill be sure to get some pics. I think i just traded my iPad for some ESW9s, RE-Zero's, and some cash. Looks like i may get my AKG's sooner then expected :p

 

Whats the difference between the 701s and the 702s?

Whats the difference between the 701s and the 702s?


K702 has a detachable cable and is a weird indigo blue color. There are no sonic differences.

 

Glad to hear that you will get to enjoy this combo soon!

K702 have removable cable and the K701 dont and the color.

The 702 is black in color not indigo blue

In most pictures they look black, but they are in fact a very dark indigo blue with some shimmer.

I have it infront of me right now and it is perfectly black, maybe the color is indigo blue in a different production batch.smile.gif

Doubt it.  Mine shows up better in pictures. 

  Open this link and scroll to the bottom of the first post and you'll see my 702s.
