Found my *almost* perfect audio player: XMPlay - Page 2

Its tagging is its weakest feature.

To me its strongest points are it's small size,  uses wasapi, simplicity and it doesn't need to be installed. I have a little 8Gb thumb drive on my keyring and can play music from anywhere there's a computer (nowadays that's everywhere). I can plug it into a computer at work that won't let you install anything or stick it into the usb port of a friend's computer and listen to music instantly, either from files or the internet including streaming radio. It's kinda cool to go over to someone's house and be able to show them what flac is all about, let them hear your latest tunes or start a party. Kinda like a Corvette. Not the most practical as your only car, but awesome if you already have something to get back and forth to work (library management).

Bumpy

Low footprint is why I converted from WinAmp and probably stick with XMPlay. Good support also.

Anyway, a question for it's users concerning the ASIO plugin. I can hear sound from the wave-out while using native ASIO which is not the case when I choose to use ASIO4ALL. How come there is this difference?

Are you using XP? Otherwise the wasapi dll is the solution.

Indeed XP. Any ideas though?
